File image for representation.In view of the rising cases of missing persons, a dedicated team of Anti Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of South East Delhi was constituted.

The team traced the families of two missing children who hail from Amroha, Uttar Pradesh.

On September 12, during a routine visit of observation homes in Delhi by dedicated team of AHTU for counselling of missing children, they contacted two boys, one of whom was 12 and the other was 11 years old.The boys were emplaced as vagabonds at "Salam Balak Trust" in Tis Hazari through Old Delhi Railway Station PS.

During the course of inquiry with the trust administration, it stated that both the children came to them about 15 months ago.

During systematic counselling sessions, the 12-year-old boy revealed that he lived in a slum dwelling near Jeevan Jyoti Hospital in UP's Gajraula.

The other boy said he lived in a village in Gajraula but failed to provide more details.As no other clue was available regarding their addresses, officials sought help from Google and searched for Jeevan Jyoti Hospital in UP.

One such hospital was located in Gajraula district in Amroha, UP.

Immediately, a call was made to SHO Gajraula.

He was provided with the details and pictures of both the boys but he failed to provide any help.

Thereafter, many persons living in Gajraula were contacted through WhatsApp and hundreds of calls were made and the information of the missing children was shared.Finally, on September 17, the family of the 12-year-old was traced in Gajraula and the family of the other boy was found in Ganga Nagar village near Gajraula.

They were identified by their families through video calling.

Inquiry revealed that they met at a railway station and became friends.

Their ardent interest to see Qutub Minar landed them at the Delhi Railway Station.
