RAJKOT: A businesswoman, promoter of a ceramic company in Morbi, allegedly forced a sacked sales manager lick her boots while five others lashed him with a belt as he called and messaged her to ask for his 18 days of salary.Besides other relevant sections of the IPC, the company owner Vibhuti alias Raniba Patel, and others were also booked under the Prevention of Atrocities Act as the victim Nilesh Dalsaniya is a Dalit.Dalsaniya was subjected to torture as he repeatedly called Patel for his unpaid salary.In his complaint lodged with the Morbi A-division police station, Dalsaniya said the accused even made a video after forcing him to apologize.Others booked were Om Patel, Raj Patel, Parikshit, DD Rabari, and an unknown person.Dalsaniya was fired from the job mid-way last month over some performance issues.

On Wednesday evening, he approached Patel to ask for the pending salary of 15 months.

He was accompanied by his elder brother Mehul and friend Bhavesh Makwana.The complaint alleges that the trio were first slapped by Rabari and Raj Patel.

Thereafter, they started thrashing him and five people including Patel took him to the company's terrace where he was lashed with a belt.

They continued to thrash him and allegedly hurled casteist slurs at him.Dalsaniya alleged that he was forced to record one video on his mobile stating that "he and his friends were extorting money'.

He then recorded a second video apologizing for his act, and that he wouldn't call or message Patel asking for money.Dalsaniya alleged that the woman also forced the employee to lick her shoes and threatened to kill him if was spotted near Ravapar Chowkdi where the factory is located.

He has been admitted to the civil hospital.Patel is the founder and chairman of Raniba Industries, which manufactures tiles, majorly for exports.Dalsaniya joined the company's export division located in the Capital Market at Ravapar Chowkdi on October 2 but he was sacked on October 18.

He was expecting to be paid the remuneration for 18 days of the monthly salary of Rs 12,000.

The salaries of the employees are deposited into their accounts on the fifth of every month.As the amount was not credited to the account on November 5, he called Patel and sent her reminder messages, which left her furious.
