NEW DELHI: The SP BSE Capital Goods index was trading on a flat note in Thursday's afternoon session. Shares of Suzlon Energy (up 5.21 per cent), Schaeffler India (up 2.78 per cent), GE TD India (up 2.12 per cent), Sadbhav Engineering (up 1.83 per cent) and VGuard Industries (up 1.71 per cent) were trading in the green.

Dilip Buildcon (down 1.04 per cent), Bharat Electronics (down 0.65 per cent), Elgi Equipments (down 0.57 per cent) and Finolex Cables (down 0.48 per cent) were trading lower.

The SP BSE Capital Goods index was trading 0.01 per cent down at 16,653.67 around 12:33 pm.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 27.15 points at 10,762.60 while the BSE Sensex was up 84.77 points at 35,841.03.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 29 were trading in the green, while 20 were in the red.

Shares of Reliance Communications, Reliance Power, PNB, Suzlon Energy, CG Power, Reliance Capital, Dish TV India, Allahabad Bank, YES Bank, Vakrangee, JP Associates, Reliance Infra, JSPL, Adani Power, DHFL, PFC, NALCO and Bank of India were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
