NEW DELHI: Most IT shares were trading with losses in Monday's morning session. Shares of Tata Elxsi (down 4.20 per cent), Mindtree (down 0.88 per cent), Wipro (down 0.33 per cent) and Oracle Financial Services Software (down 0.32 per cent) were the worst performers in the index.

NIIT Technologies (down 0.24 per cent), HCL Technologies (down 0.15 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services (down 0.09 per cent) too were trading in the red.

Meanwhile, the Nifty IT index was trading 1.31 per cent up at 15,426.65 around 10:10 am.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 9.60 points at 11,562.10 while the BSE Sensex was up 81.80 points at 38,818.03.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 17 were trading in the green, while 33 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, Dish TV India, Infosys, Allahabad Bank, Vodafone Idea, Tata Motors, Sun Pharma, SAIL, L-T Fin Holding and PNB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
