HYDERABAD: Union home minister Amit Shah on Friday said Rajendrangar has become a hub for terrorists and the National Investigation Agency (NIA) took three terror suspects into custody from here last year.Addressing a rally in the city, he said: “Terrorists got local patronagehere, while the Hyderabad police failed to take effective action.

Until NIA took action, local police was not even aware of the terror elements.What were they (police) doing until then? If BJP comes to power, we will crush the terrorist activities in the state.”Alleging that chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao fears AIMIM’s Owaisis, he said: “With that fear, the BRS government is not observing September 17 as Liberation Day.

BRS leaders should not think that they can escape corruption allegations.

No one will be spared.

After investigation, they will be sent to jail.” Earlier at a public meeting in Armoor, he said: “BRS has given tickets to people who have corruption charges against them.

BRS traded party tickets for money even for ministerial positions also.” Shah also alleged that BRS leaders grabbed land, which was allocated for building bus depots, at prime locations.

Slamming the BRS government, the BJP leader said it could not even conduct exams properly in the last seven years.

“Students and aspirants suffered as exam papers of Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) were leaked.

If BJP is voted to power, we have decided to give jobs on merit to 2,50,000 youth of Telangana quickly.” He stated that Congress, BRS, and AIMIM were the same and do appeasement politics.

“These parties cannot realize the dreams of Telangana people, but under the BJP‘s double engine government, it will become the number one state in the country.” Later, Shah held a meeting with senior BJP leaders in city.

Sources said he expressed satisfaction over the response BJP was getting after declarationn of the manifesto and promises of SC sub-categorisation BC chief minister.

He asked the party leaders to intensify the campaign in the last few days and go door-to-door.
