NEW DELHI/CHITRADURGA (KARNATAKA): Shivamurthy Sharana, the spiritual leader of the Chitradurga Murugharajendra Bruhan Math, who had been held in custody since September of last year on charges under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, was released from jail on Thursday.Karnataka: Police take Shivamurthy Murugha Sharanaru to jail in ChitradurgaThe second additional district - sessions court in the district headquarters town on Wednesday issued an order instructing the district prison authorities to release the seer.

The decision followed an examination of the conditions set by the high court, which granted him bail on November 8, and a thorough verification of the relevant documents.Due to a delay in the delivery of the order copy to the relevant officials, the seer could not be released as scheduled, according to officials.Following the bail conditions, officials stated that he has been relocated from Chitradurga.

Everything will be positive in the future," expressed the seer to reporters outside the jail.The high court has imposed various conditions for bail in one of the two Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) cases against the pontiff.

These conditions include a directive not to enter Chitradurga district until the investigation in the cases is concluded.He has been granted bail on a personal bond of Rs two lakh and two sureties for similar amounts.

Additionally, he has been cautioned against tampering with evidence or influencing the witnesses.On October 13, the high court granted bail to accused number three, Paramashivaiah, in the first Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) case involving the pontiff and others.The complaint against the pontiff and four others was lodged by the Mysuru-based NGO 'Odanadi Seva Samsthe,' alleging sexual harassment of minor students enrolled in the math's school and those residing in its hostel.The Nazarabad police in Mysuru initially registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) and the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

Subsequently, the case was transferred to the Chitradurga Rural police station.The accused were apprehended and have remained in judicial custody since their arrest.

A second case was initiated following complaints from two additional students.With agency inputs
