At the table carefully laid for Sabbath, the absence of over 200 hostages unable to take their seats was palpable.

Laid on top of the pristine, white tablecloth were loaves of freshly baked bread and bottles of red wine & typical of a traditional Jewish Friday night dinner to share with loved ones.
