Chennai: Star politician Kamal Haasan-led Makkal Needhi Maiam has settled a seat sharing pact with two of its allies for the April 6 Assembly surveys and it is set to object to from 154 segments out of the 234 constituencies.MNM tattooed an agreement with actor-politician Sarathkumar's All India Samathuva Makhal Katchi and Indiya Jananayaka Katchi to jointly combat the surveys.
According to the understanding reached here late last night, AISMK and IJK would contest from 40 seats each.The primary objective was to object to surveys in alliance with a pledge for modification and emerge triumphant to form the federal government, the arrangement said.The parties have devoted to the common goal of transforming Tamil Nadu by satisfying the long pending goals of the people, the pact said.
