HYDERABAD: Taking a leaf out of BJPs Hindutva program, Telangana Congress president A Revanth Reddy on Tuesday said that if his celebration wins power, it will think about building Ram temples in each of the states 100 assembly sectors at an expense of 10 crore each.During his Haath Se Haath Jodo yatra in Bhadrachalam where the well known Sita Rama temple lies, Revanth said: In Bhadrachalam, Ram temple was built.

Our celebration leaders told me that there must be Ram temple in each of the 100 assembly sectors throughout the state.

We will definitely consider this great idea because it will be helpful to the youth.

We will think about investing 1,000 crore on this initiative.

This is the first time a Congress leader has spoken openly on temple agenda in recent past in the state which is heading to assembly elections in later part of the year.

The remarks assume significance as Revanths challenger, BJP state chief Bandi Sanjay is known to stir up controversies with his rhetoric on masjids, temples and Hindus sentiments.While guaranteeing to develop Ram temples, Revanth, nevertheless, accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of dividing society along religious lines.
