While they continue to reel from the pain of the sudden demise of Tunisha Sharma – she allegedly died by suicide on the of her TV show, Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul on December 24 – the actress’s family is trying their best to keep her legacy alive.

Pawan Sharma, who is supposedly her uncle, has rechristened his production house after Tunisha.

He says, “Tunisha came to Mumbai to make a name for herself in Bollywood and was moving in that direction.Unfortunately, she left us too early.

However, I have vowed not to let her vanish.

To keep her legacy alive, I have changed my film production house's name from Paradiso Productions to Tunisha Sharma Films.”He adds, “Tunisha won millions of hearts with her acting talent.

If we are continuing her legacy, then the audience will expect the films to be sensible and entertaining.

Besides, Tunisha’s mother, Vanitaji and I will set up a film school after our beloved daughter’s name where aspiring actors with no guidance or Godfather like her will be trained.”He made his production debut with the film Fuddu and recently co-produced a comedy film with Sharib Hashmi and a thriller titled Entrapped featuring Adhyayan Suman.

Talking about when he changed the name, he says, “I changed it officially when my short film Soulmate starring Hina Khan, won an award at a reputed film festival in the USA and other awards.

It was Tunisha, who pushed me to make Soulmate when I wasn't very sure about it.

She had a great sense of stories.”Pawan and Suchitra PillaiPawan has already started working on projects with renewed vigour.

He says, “Shooting already begins for my next directorial short film Duvvidha featuring Suchitra Pillai ma’am and Deepak Tewari, specifically targeting the Cannes film festival.”
