RAJKOT: Suspecting that the woman in the porn video he was watching was his wife with her boyfriend, a 51-year-old man in Rajkot wounded his wife with a large needle that's used for stitching a jute bag on Tuesday night.Geeta Bhupkar (45), in her complaint, said that she and her daughter Anushree (24), who came to save her from her husband Haresh Bhupkar, suffered injuries.The University police station, after receiving a complaint from Geeta, arrested her husband on Wednesday under IPC Section 324 (assault).

Geeta and her daughter both were admitted to Rajkot civil hospital for treatment.

The woman is a mother of two - a 24-year-old daughter and an 18-year-old son.

According to Geeta's complaint, her husband Haresh, who is a marketing professional, got addicted to porn after he purchased a new mobile.Earlier too, Geeta's husband had accused her of performing in the porn videos with her boyfriend and had fights with her.The woman had approached police last week with a complaint but before registering an FIR, the family settled the issue.However, on Tuesday night, when Geeta was sleeping, Haresh suddenly approached her and attacked her with the large needle used to stitch jute grain bags.As she started screaming, her daughter Anushree came to save her but Haresh also attacked and injured her.According to the police, Geeta received injuries on the abdomen, both her arms and one leg, while her daughter received injuries on the hand.
