NEW DELHI: A 36-year-old man was killed while his friend suffered injuries after unknown assailants opened fire at them in Delhi's Bhajanpura on Tuesday night.They were intercepted by the assailants while travelling on a motorbike near Subhash Vihar in Bhajanpura.The incident was reported at 11.37pm.The deceased has been identified as Harpreet Gill.According to reports, Gill was working as a senior manager with e-commerce platform Amazon.He was rushed to a hospital where he was declared dead by doctors.The injured, identified as Govind Singh, is undergoing treatment at LNJP hospital.Police have registered a case in this regard and an investigation is under way.

The accused are yet to be apprehended.
