JORHAT: An enormous fire broke out at a market in Assams Jorhat district late on Thursday, gutting a minimum of 150 stores, authorities stated.
Twenty-five fire tenders were combating the blaze at Chowk Bazaar in the heart of Jorhat town and it was yet to be brought under control, they stated.
