KATHMANDU, APRIL 13The government has decided to appoint Pushpa Ram KC as the inspector general of the Armed Police Force Nepal.

A Cabinet meeting held this morning decided to promote Additional Inspector General KC to the post of chief of the APF.

He is on course to succeed AIG Shailendra Khanal. Another AIG Ram Sharan Poudel was below KC in the hierarchy. After Khanal retired from his position yesterday, the government had assigned the duty of acting chief to KC.
