KATHMANDU, APRIL 15The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal active caseload has reached to 438 on Friday as 14 people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours. Nepal records 350 COVID-19 cases, four fatalities on Saturday Active caseload drops to 63296 with 2742 new Covid infections, 2742 discharges on Thursday The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 978,648 while the death toll remains at 11,951 as no fatalities were recorded today. Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 966,259 with 55 discharges logged today.As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 3,903 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 3,030 were PCR tests while 873 were antigen tests.

With this, a total of 5,591,779 PCR tests have been carried out till date.Similarly, antigen tests confirmed no positive cases in the past 24 hours.

Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.7%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.Currently, there are 106 individuals in various quarantine facilities across Nepal. .
