KATHMANDU, APRIL 16Satabdi Purush' Satya Mohan Joshi, who was taken to the emergency ward of the KIST Medical College and Teaching Hospital on April 14 after experiencing acute pain in his chest and problems while urinating, was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital, on April 15. The Oscars are Sunday, and change is in the air Moroccans say farewell to boy who died in well - "the son of us all" A press release issued by the KIST Medical College and Teaching Hospital on April 16 at 1:00 pm quoted Prof Dr Suraj Bajracharya, its director as stating: " After instability was seen in his (Joshi's) heartbeat from 11:00 pm yesterday (April 15), he was shifted to the ICU for close supervision and his treatment is undergoing there." His condition is satisfactory, as per the press release.Joshi has been diagnosed with a complicated recurrent urinary tract infection.

His heart is swollen and is also suffering from atrial fibrillation with rapid ventricular rate with dilated cardiomyopathy along with traction fibro-bronchiectasis with pleural thickening in his respiratory tract, the press statement added.Joshi's treatment is being led jointly by Prof Dr Milesh Jung Sijapati, and Prof Dr Ram Bhakta Koju where the doctors of various departments - internal medicine, pulmonology, cardiology, urology, nephrology, and critical care - are also involved and the doctors are taking a multidisciplinary approach from many other departments to treat the centenarian, stated the release.The 102-year-old cultural expert and historian had visited the hospital's emergency ward at around 4:00 pm on April 14 and had been shifted to a deluxe cabin before being admitted to the ICU.
