VIJAYAWADA: In an unique initiative, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy launched the main fact-check portal of Andhra Pradesh federal government, https://factcheck.ap.gov.in/ here on Friday.Fact Examine AP objectives to suppress spread of misinformation.
Jagan introduced the site and twitter account at an occasion kept in the CM Camp office at Tadepalli.
He stated malicious propaganda was being spread out in the media and social media and the AP Truth Check platform would spread awareness among the public about incorrect news with proof.
The CM stated the spread of fake and malicious propaganda is generally done via social media.
He advised authorities to recognize offenders and take action.
No one has the right to deliberately damage the credibility of an individual or the system with harmful intentions, the CM said while highlighting the need to check malicious projects versus governmental programs.
