Ashok Chawla also recently resigned as Yes Bank's non-executive independent chairman.New Delhi:Ashok Chawla has resigned as chairman of National Stock Exchange Of India with immediate effect "in light of recent legal developments," exchange said on Friday.Mr Chawla, who had been chairman of country's biggest stock exchange since 2016, has been charged with corruption by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), according to local media reports.Mr Chawla did not immediately respond to a request for comment.He also recently resigned as Yes Bank's non-executive independent chairman.
