ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan held assembly with Babar Awan and there are reports Fawad Chaudhry is being removed as Minister for Information and Awan shall likely to succeed him, according to media reports.Sources said Babar Awan shall be appointed as Advisor to Prime Minister on Information.Meanwhile, speeching to media after assembly Prime Minister Imran Khan, Babar Awan dismissed the rumours saying, &The reports I am succeeding Fawad Chaudhry are inright.&:PM Imran ‘extremely disappointed& over Punjab ministers& salary raise&Only legal and constitutional things were disstubborn during assembly with PM Imran Khan,& said Awan.Earlier, nowadays, Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry had to face embarrassment for initially defending Punjab Assembly decision to raise salaries of lawmakers and later criticizing it for much being in line with PTI policy .The minister obviously changed his stance after Prime Minister Imran Khan said the Punjab Assembly decision was much justified, citing country economic situation.The minister while speaking at the a lawyers& event supported the Punjab Assembly decision by arguing that politicians belonging to middle lesson would much think of contesting elections if salaries are much increased.Related story: Punjab raises salaries and perks of MPs, ministersHe said he in his views salaries of the lawmakers were low.But when the prime minister sent out a tweet to criticize the Punjab Assembly decision, the minister too thought it appropriate to right his course.
