WARANGAL: Exploring the concept of shifting the Warangal Central Jail out of the city and establishing a health facility in its location, Chief Minister K.
Chandrashekar Rao visited Warangal and took a round of the Covid ward inside the MGM hospital.Wearing a mask and a face-shield, the CM walked up to Covid-19 clients inside the ICU ward and enquired about the treatment they were getting.
He asked them to mention imperfections, if any, and wrote down some problems.
He also took a look at the medical devices in the ward.
The CM asked the clients not to amuse any fear about the disease.
A senior male from Mattewada, Venkatachary, told the CM he was getting excellent medical attention.
He also raised slogans of 'KCR Zindabad'.
Later on, the CM visited the basic ward and asked authorities to obtain all necessary equipment at any expense.
He valued the works of medical professionals and others in the hospital.After taking over the health portfolio from Etela Rajendar, Chandrashekar Rao has been busy overseeing the treatment of Coronavirus patients in state-run healthcare facilities.
He just recently visited Gandhi Medical facility in Hyderabad.
As part of modifications in MGM health center, the superintendent Dr Nagarjuna Reddy has been changed with Dr V.
Chandrashekar ahead of the CM's visit.After lunch at Rajya Sabha MP V.
Lakshmikantha Rao's house in Hunter Roadway, Rao headed for the Warangal central prison.
He interacted with the prisoners and evinced interest in the items they made.
