KURNOOL: An irritated mob of villagers tossed chili powder in the eyes of Jonnagiri sub-inspector Suresh for his indifference in taking action versus a youth who had eloped with a girl.
The event took place at Pagidirayi village in Tuggali mandal of Kurnool district late Monday evening.The villagers in retaliation raided and harmed homes belonging to SC community a member of the neighborhood had actually eloped with a lady from the BC commnity.
About 500 BC families live in Pagidirayi village and the majority of them are into sub-contract deal with Terrific Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).
