KDP pledges to put all efforts to recognize Halabja as governorate

Shafaq News / The Kurdistan Democratic Party pledged today to put all efforts to officially recognize Halabja as the 19th Iraqi governorate.

The head of the bloc, Vian Sabri, told Shafaq News agency that the Kurdistan Regional Government has already recognized Halabja as an independent governorate, hoping that the Federal government would do so.
