2023-01-05T12:17:01.000000 On Thursday, the Iraqi President, Abdul Latif Rashid, fulfilled, in Baghdad, a delegation from the Shia Ulema Council of Afghanistan.In a declaration, the Iraqi presidency stated Rashid expressed Iraqs sympathy with the Afghans, assistance for civil and societal peace, and cohesion among all its parts.

The president worried the significance of internal dialogue in Afghanistan and discovering a government representing all components.In turn, the delegation applauded Iraqs encouraging positions of the Afghan people.Earlier, the delegation fulfilled Grand Ayatullah Sayyid al-Sistani.

According to his workplace, his Eminence expressed great regret and grief for the lots of kinds of suffering and hardships that the nation of Afghanistan has endured in the last couple of years, referring to the different atrocities that in this era are being committed on everybody, particularly the women of the country.

Ayatullah al-Sistani urged leaders not to leave the oppressed people of Afghanistan alone in this difficult scenario and not to keep any help to reduce their suffering.

The delegation also met the Secretary-General of Asaib Ahl al-Haq, Qais al-Khazali.
