Tehran Times - Leader participates in Taklif Celebration for young school ladies Sat 4, FebruaryLeader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei got a group of young girls on Friday to collectively treasure the Taklif Celebration. The Taklif Celebration is held to celebrate the age at which girls and kids come of age in terms of observing religious responsibilities.
In Islam, this age is 9 for women and 15 for young boys.
