NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu and, as he said in a tweet, talked about ways to strengthen the diverse India-Israel friendship, deepen concentrate on development collaboration, and continuous cooperation in defence and security.This was the 2nd telephone call in between the two leaders given that Netanyahu went back to power in December, last year.The telephone call lasted for about 20 minutes, the Israeli PMO said.
The two leaders talked about methods to reinforce the close and important relations between Israel and India, a declaration from the PMO said.
The 2 leaders expressed a mutual desire to deepen the cooperation between the nations in the fields of high-tech, economy and security, it added.In his call on January 11, Modi congratulated Netanyahu on being sworn in as the PM and stressed the significance of continued cooperation between the two countries.Netanyahu was sworn-in as Israels PM for a sixth time on December 29, 2022, leading the Jewish states most conservative government to date.
He is currently Israels longest-serving prime minister.
