During a meeting with Colombian President Gustavo Petro in Beijing, China’s President Xi Jinping elevated his country’s relations with Colombia.The meeting was part of Petro’s state visit to China, which lasted from October 24 to 26.

President Xi stressed the positive history between the two nations.He said that their diplomatic ties have always been good and are getting better.

In addition, Colombia’s government announced that 12 new agreements have been signed.These agreements cover many areas, such as economics, technology, and culture, aiming to strengthen the relationship between the two countries.Both leaders, Xi and Petro, highlighted the value of strong relations between their nations.They especially talked about improving trade.

Petro showed a special interest in selling more farm goods to China.President Petro also emphasized the key role of this partnership.
