LAMJUNG, JUNE 26Four people have died when a landslide buried three houses at Bagum of Kwoholasothar Rural Municipality-3 in Lamjung district last night.

They had gone missing since the incident and their bodies have been found now, Chitra Ghale, a local, told RSS. 1 killed, 2 injured in Okhaldhunga landslide Dumre-Besisahar road obstructed due to landslide According to Ghale, those killed in the incident are 67-year-old Rudra Man Gurung, his daughter-in-law Pancha Kumari Gurung, 36, and granddaughters Namrata Gurung, 4, and Ichchha Gurung, 8.Police and locals retrieved their bodies from the landslide debris, it is said. Three houses in the locality were buried by the landslide while three remained unscathed, it was shared.Meanwhile, a person died due to lightning at Tallo Kemligaon of Kwoholasothar rural municipality-7 last night.

He is 65-year-old Dan Bahadur Gharti.

Lightning struck him when he came out of his house for loo, said Police Inspector Meghnath Chapagain at the District Police Office, Lamjung.Thirty-eight years old Ram Chandra Adhikari of Dhad Kalaunche, Rainas municipality-9 was injured in lightning strike, Police Inspector Chapagain said.

Adhikari is undergoing treatment at Namuna Hospital in Sundarbazar.

An ox belonging to Madan Pariyar also died due to lightning strike at Shera of Beshisahar municipality-6 in the district. .
