A four-member Russian badminton team, comprising three athletes and a coach, has arrived in Kabul for a contest scheduled to start Sunday.The team was invited by the National Badminton Federation in collaboration with the General Directorate of Olympic, Physical Education, and Sports.According to a statement from the National Olympic Committee&s media office, the contest will feature 24 athletes from Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Russia.The competition will be held over three days at the 2,500-capacity gymnasium of the directorate.One of the Russian badminton athletes said: &This is the first time we came to Afghanistan and traveling in a beautiful country makes us feel good.
