The widow of anti-Kremlin activist Ildar Dadin, who was eliminated fighting for Ukraine last month, implicated the Freedom of Russia Legion of burying her late other half without her permission and suggested that members of the pro-Kyiv paramilitary group might have covered up the reason for his death.Dadin had actually battled together with the Ukrainian militaries as a member of the Freedom of Russia Legion, which is comprised of Russian nationals who used up arms against the Russian army after the full-scale intrusion of Ukraine.Dadins relativesconfirmed his death in early October.
His body was buried in Kyiv on Thursday, according to photographs and a videopublished by Freedom of Russia Legion spokesman Alexei Baranovsky.Ildar didnt inadvertently find himself armed in Ukraine protecting the Ukrainian individuals.
His entire life was an uncompromising struggle with Putins inhumane system thats destroying Russia and its neighbors, one soldier stated at Dadins funeral. His widow, Alessandra Sveshnikova, said she discovered his cremation and burial of his ashes from media reports.
This happened without my knowledge or consent, she composed on Facebook. All this time, I was trying to get my other halves body from the Freedom of Russia Legion to bury him with dignity beside my dad, Sveshnikova added.
No one contacted me about Ildars death, although they had (and still have) Ildars passport with our marital relationship stamp and a copy of our marital relationship certificate.Sveshnikova shared screenshots of messages in between her and members of the Freedom of Russian Legion.
In one of the messages, someone composing from the groups Facebook page informs Sveshnikova that Dadin had not indicated her as his better half or next-of-kin.
Sveshnikova claimed that Dadin had actually confided to her that he and the Legions command had actually run into disputes that led him to fear a bullet in his back. There were continuously altering variations of how my husband passed away: initially as a result of shelling, then from a drone attack, now the Legion formally stated Ildar passed away from machine gun fire, she said.Im starting to doubt a growing number of that Ildar passed away at the hands of the [Russian] occupiers. The Moscow Times, which might not immediately validate the claims, contacted Sveshnikova for comment.
