The Speaker of Parliament Asoka Ranwala revealed today (21) that President Anura Kumara Dissanayke has officially identified Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Sajith Premadasa as the Leader of the Opposition.The announcement was made during the inaugural session of the 10th Parliament, where the Speaker conveyed the Presidents communications to the House.Following this announcement, proceedings were adjourned until 11:30 a.m., when the President is arranged to provide the governments policy declaration to the Parliament.
