Speaking during a parliamentary session last week, Minister of Public Security Ananda Wijepala explained the choice to withdraw the tri-forces personnel released to secure former presidents.Accordingly, from today onwards, only law enforcement officer will provide security for former presidents.The variety of police officers assigned to supply security for former presidents has likewise been reduced.
