More than 46,000 Palestinians have been killed in the Israel-Hamas war, Gazas Health Ministry said Thursday, with no end in sight to the 15-month conflict, AP reported.The ministry said a total of 46,006 Palestinians have been killed and 109,378 wounded.
It has said women and children make up more than half the fatalities.Palestinian officials say that 70 people have been killed over the last 24 hours.
Earlier, the United Nations Children's Fund UNICEF reported that at least 74 children were among those killed in the first week of 2025, according to Vatican News.In recent weeks, Israel and Hamas have appeared to inch closer to an agreement for a ceasefire and the release of hostages.
