Sharjah Warriorz won their second video game of the ILT20 as they beat Dubai Capitals by 5 wickets at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Friday.
Asked to bat, Dubai posted a total of 210 for five, which Sharjah chased after with 5 wickets and 13 balls to spare.Dubai Capitals had a terrific start to their innings as Ben Dunk (21) and Shai Hope (83) searched in great touch right from the start, adding 41 runs for the opening partnership.Hope, who slammed a heap in the last game, continued his golden form and played another fantastic innings.
He was well supported by Brandon McMullen (22 ), Sikandar Raza (27) and Rovman Powell (28 ).
Based on the collective effort with the bat, Dubai Capitals posted an overall of 201 for five.In the chase, Jason Roy (26) and Johnson Charles (37) took their team off to a flying start, including 56 runs for the opening stand however both lost their wickets within span of 2 overs.Avishka Fernando (81) played an excellent hand for his group at number 3.
