
TEHRAN- A group of Iranian tourism journalists visited destinations of the western Iranian province of Ilam on an orientation tour, the provinces tourism chief has said.A one-day fam tour was held on Saturday, including a team of journalists from various news companies, papers, and local publications in the Province, Farzad Sharifi explained.The occasion aimed to showcase the provinces tourism potential and include sees to ongoing jobs, he added.
He likewise mentioned that this trip was organized due to the approaching Nowruz celebrations, aligning with the provinces travel services coordination committees plans.He highlighted that the travel plan included visits to tourism jobs within the city of Ilam, meetings with media representatives, and expressions of thankfulness to the journalists associated with this initiative.The main objective of the trip was to boost the medias understanding of Ilam provinces tourism capabilities as agents of popular opinion, he noted.Sharifi worried the value of presenting the area and advancing tourism infrastructure while maintaining the areas special identity.He noted that both elements should receive considerable attention to promote sustainable development in Ilams tourist sector.Ilam is located on the foothills of the Zagros Mountains in the western region of Iran.
