
TEHRAN Irans renowned Tourism Trianglethe cities of Shiraz, Isfahan, and Yazdwas a major highlight of Iran Cultural Week in Qatar, where their abundant cultural heritage and tourist capacity were prominently showcased.Alireza Masah, head of the Tourism Department at Isfahan Municipality and the citys agent at the occasion, emphasized the significance of this cooperation, marking the 2nd global partnership between the 3 cities after their joint discussion at the International Tourism Exhibition.
These three cities, renowned for their historical and cultural significance, work as the face of Iranian tourist.
Their participation in this event offers an unique opportunity to present Irans rich heritage to an international audience, Masah stated.
Isfahans contribution to the occasion centered around its renowned handicrafts, as the city holds the prestigious title of a UNESCO Creative City of Crafts and Folk Art.
To highlight this difference, organizers showed 40 graphic panels including Isfahans handicrafts, each accompanied by Arabic subtitles to introduce the citys creative tradition to visitors.
The exhibit also featured panels highlighting the leading tourism attractions, religious landmarks, and natural and archaeological sites of Shiraz, Isfahan, and Yazd, offering attendees an immersive journey through Irans cultural heartland.
As part of Iran Cultural Week, a special event was held to honor Iranian artists and cultural activists residing in Qatar for their contributions to the event.
The gathering, organized by the Cultural Attach of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Qatar, was attended by 140 Iranian migrants, along with Irans Ambassador to Qatar, Ali Salehabadi, and Cultural Attach Ali Bakhtiari.
Bakhtiari expressed gratitude for the dedication and partnership of Iranian artists, emphasizing that their efforts not only showcased Irans rich creative heritage however also helped with the sale of Iranian handicrafts and art work while reinforcing connections with regional audiences.
He explained the strong involvement of Iranian locals as a key consider the occasions success, highlighting its role in promoting Iranian culture and fostering cultural exchange in Qatar.
He revealed hope that such efforts would continue to improve Irans cultural existence abroad.
