A global dialogue event titled "China in Springtime: Sharing Opportunities with the World" was held in Ankara, Türkiye on March 12.Hosted by China Media Group (CMG), the event was attended by more than 150 guests from the political, business and academic sectors as well as media representatives of Türkiye, where they held exchanges and discussions on topics such as the opportunities that China's high-quality development brings to the world and the development of China-Türkiye ties.Shen Haixiong, vice minister of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and CMG president, addressed the event via video link.
Shen said China's development cannot be separated from that of the world.Stressing that China's door will only open wider, Shen said "China's confidence" has injected more stability and certainty into the world.CMG is ready to leverage its advantages, such as communications and technological innovation, to share opportunities provided by Chinese modernization with the world, he said, pledging to build a media platform for news reporting, information exchange and resource sharing to share China's experience and wisdom with the world.Shen said CMG will also share the opportunity of cultural exchange and mutual learning between China and foreign countries, and create a series of platforms on mutual learning to build a global civilization dialogue network.Chinese Ambassador to Türkiye Jiang Xuebin said China is willing to strengthen cooperation with the international community, including Türkiye, to jointly oppose zero-sum games and camp confrontation, and resist the wrong practice of decoupling to jointly safeguard the hard-won multilateral trading system.Kadir Temiz, president of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies, expressed his willingness to enhance cooperation with Chinese think tanks, play the role of a bridge between the two countries and contribute to promoting exchanges in fields such as economy, trade, investment and culture.Hailing the two countries' efforts in recent years to promote the Belt and Road cooperation and deepen bilateral cooperation, Ihsan Beser, president of the Türkiye-China Business Development and Support Association, said Türkiye and China can tap into more cooperation potential to promote the development of regional economies.
