A major mishap has taken place near the 25.5 km mark on the Dodangoda-Galanigama Expressway, including numerous vehicles.According to reports, 2 trucks, a luxury van bring foreign nationals, and a cars and truck were associated with the collision.The accident occurred when a lorry carrying rice from Matara to Colombo was struck from behind by the high-end van.The impact triggered a chain reaction, with a car following behind crashing into the van.The collision also resulted in damage to the expressways safety fence.The Traffic Police of the Southern Expressway stated that six people including 4 British nationwide tourists were hurt in the mishap and were admitted to the medical facility.
