Russias Federal Security Service (FSB)said Friday that its agents detained a soldier who was allegedly working with the Ukrainian military to prepare a suicide bomb attack on a military academy.The 49-year-old soldier wasarrested in the Moscow area on Wednesday while supposedly going to get an explosive device, according to Russias Investigative Committee, which probes major crimes.FSB video shared by Russian mediashowed uniformed representatives chasing down the male in a woody location and questioning him in a metal cage.The declared target of his organized attack was a military college dorm room, the FSB said.The soldier, who was not called, was recruited online by the Ukrainian Defense Ministrys Main Directorate of Intelligence (HUR) in March, according to the Investigative Committee.In an interrogation video released by the law enforcement body, the guy claimed that Ukrainian military officials provided to assist bring his kids to the West if he carried out a suicide attack on the Russian military academy.It was not instantly possible to validate the claims.The soldier was charged with terrorism and possession of dynamites, authorities said.Russian private investigators are working to develop whether there were any accomplices.
