The China Coast Guard (CCG) expelled a Japanese fishing vessel that unlawfully went into Chinas territorial waters around Diaoyu Dao on April 5 and 6, a spokesperson for the CCG said on Sunday.In the process, the CCG executed essential management and control steps and provided warnings to drive the Japanese vessel out of the location, CCG representative Liu Dejun said.Noting that Diaoyu Dao and its affiliated islands are Chinas inherent area, the CCG prompted the Japanese side to stop all unlawful activities in these waters.The CCG will continue to carry out police operations in the territorial waters of Diaoyu Dao to protect national sovereignty and maritime rights and interests.
