
A total of 346 generative artificial intelligence (AI) services had been submitted with the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) as of March 31, according to a declaration launched by the Chinese internet regulator on Tuesday.The increase of Deepseek this year has stimulated worldwide attention in AI and set off a surge in AI-related investments.According to the CAC, suppliers of generative AI services that possess attributes of popular opinion influence or the capacity for social mobilization might complete filing or registration treatments through their local the online world authorities.The generative AI services that have finished filing consist of DeepSeek and Baidus Ernie Bot, as shown on the CACs website.The CAC needs that generative AI applications or features that have already been released must show the AI model names and their filing numbers or launch registration numbers in a prominent place or on the item information page.The CAC and several other authorities jointly launched the Interim Measures for the Management of Generative AI Services in July 2023 to promote the regulation of the application of generative AI.
The measures entered effect on August 15, 2023.
