Russian Airline Aurora Group Gets Approval to Perform UAV Services

East Russian carrier Aurora Group has been given an operating certificate for a subsidiary which will concentrate on unmanned aerial vehicles.Aurora Group claims the division called Aurora BAS is the just such company in Russia established with an airline company at its foundation.It states that the operating certificate, following evaluation by federal air travel regulator Rosaviatsia, is official verification of its readiness to perform UAV services and develop a new direction.Aurora-BAS will perform cargo transportation in addition to operations such as aerial photography in the Sakhalin region.Source: FlightGlobalPosted in Transport on April 22, 2025 by The Editor.Leave a remark
