Image: Igor BogdanovDJI leaker Igor Bogdonov shared the first look at the DJI Mavic 4 Pros Fly More Combo, a staple bundle from the company that provides the drone and everything you need for long flying sessions.
This is the first leak of its kind for the Mavic 4 Pro; leaked product shots are a good sign that the release is coming soon. The Mavic 4 Pros Fly More Combo will come with the standard set of extra batteries, three in total, a charging case, extra propellers, a flight controller, a carrying case, and all the necessary cables for charging and data transfer. The charging case is expected to be able to charge the three Flight Intelligent Batteries simultaneously.
Charging hubs have been common for DJI drones for a while, but the Air 3 was the first of the consumer-side drones to feature a hub that could charge all the batteries at the same time.
Its hub also allows you to consolidate any charge from the remaining batteries into one, allowing for one more potential flight.
I would expect the Mavic 4 Pros hub to have a similar feature. The controller pictured in Igors post is the newly designed RC Pro 2 with a pop-up display that screams throwbacks to the Phantom controller days.
This new controller should be a killer product to try out.Advertisement - scroll for more contentA rumored accessory that isnt included in the Mavic 4 Pros Fly More Combo is its ND filter set.
This is usually not included with past drones; however, it might be something you will want.
DJI is rumored to be making its first electronic ND filter that would allow you to change ND levels mid-flight, a potential game changer in time savings. Finally, we come to the carrying bag.
For the Mavic 3, DJI released a rather interesting concept for a bag: a shoulder bag that could be turned into a backpack.
While I dont have stats on how many people used it in its backpack variation, it was the end of DJIs days in shoulder bag innovation. The Mavic 3 Classic and Pros bags were changed to be a similar but larger design to what youll find with the current Mini and Air drones.
Its a solid bag, made from good materials, and it holds everything you will need for a regular day of flying. However, it is quite restrictive.
Once its full with the drone, its batteries, cables, and controller, youre not going to be able to fit anything else.
I use the Peak Design Everyday backpack, and I favor this over DJIs bags for when Im out, as it can hold everything and some that I will need.
I can also carry multiple drones in it if needed. However, Polar Pro has also recently come out with new gear bags that we reviewed and highly enjoyed.
The 12L shoulder bag makes for a great replacement for DJIs bag as it gives you a bit more space for some extra gear.It will be interesting to see DJIs latest bag to see if theyve made any changes to the standard design.
However, from the photo, it looks pretty much the same, down to the less-than-reliable magnetic latch. For now, no word has been shared officially on when the Mavic 4 Pro will be released.
However, were expecting a release in early May, potentially May 13.FTC: We use income earning auto affiliate links.More.
