The United States does not have a plan to resolve the war in Ukraine, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated Thursday throughout talks with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Moscow.I can state for sure the Americans have no plan for the dispute in Ukraine.
Definitely none, Lukashenko told press reporters, according to state news firm Belta. His comments came as U.S.
President Donald Trumps envoy, Steve Witkoff, arrived in Moscow to provide Washingtons proposition for a 30-day ceasefire in Ukraine, which Kyiv has endorsed on the condition that Moscow likewise backs the plan.Lukashenko dismissed the proposed ceasefire as an effort to penetrate the ground and recommended Putin would find it hard to accept, mentioning current Russian battleground advances, particularly in the Kursk border region. Its easier for them [Russia] on the front line, thats why they have the huge cards, as Trump said, Lukashenko informed reporters, including that more U.S.
sanctions would not sway Russia.Just two weeks back, Lukashenko praised Trumps brilliant foreign policy and his criticism of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky throughout their tense meeting at the White House late last month.Putin has yet to openly comment on the U.S.
ceasefire proposition.
Lukashenko stated Putin prepared to inform him on the U.S.-Ukrainian settlements in Saudi Arabia.Meanwhile, Putins leading assistant, Yuri Ushakov, told state media Thursday that the joint U.S.-Ukrainian effort was a hasty relocation that does not prefer a long-term settlement.
