TEHRAN- The 43rd edition of Fajr International Theater Festival (FITF) began in Tehran on Tuesday, participated in by Deputy Culture Minister for Artistic Affairs Nadereh Rezai, theater experts, and artists.Notable individuals of the ceremony included popular figures such as experienced stars and stage directors Akbar Zanjanpour, Davood Fathalibeigi, Alireza Osivand, Hossein Mosafer Astaneh, Farzaneh Neshatkhah, Azita Hajian, Saeed Asadi, Shahram Karami, Behzad Farahani, Parisa Moqaddam, Ayoub Aqakhani, Hadi Marzban, and Leili Aaj, to name a few, Mehr reported.During the event, the Soldier of the Homeland emblem in memory of the Martyr General Qassem Soleimani was unveiled.
This symbol was granted by Kheyrollah Taqianipour and Leili Aaj to the household of martyr IRGC General Razi Mousavi.For his part, the boy of martyr Mousavi thanked Taqianipour, mentioning that he had worked like an unrecognized hero in the cultural field and had actually contributed in the production of many resistances works.

The choice to host the global area non-competitively was made by the celebration organizers, she added.She shared that 20 works were focused on for last choice, culminating in 6 stage efficiencies and one online presentation.Furthermore, 15 worldwide trainers applied to conduct workshops at the celebration, representing nations such as Canada, France, Africa, Tunisia, and India, she mentioned.After evaluating the quality of the proposed topics, a workshop entitled Exploring Contemporary Theater, featuring a trainer from India, is arranged to be held over three days during the festival, she added.This years edition has also committed a section to the oppressed people of Gaza, featuring efficiencies that will be showcased on stage.
Six phase works will be presented in the Gaza section, she explained.The 43rd Fajr International Theater Festival will be running till February 1.
