As secondary schools in Afghanistan remain closed for girls for 1,000 days, Amnesty International on Friday called on the Islamic Emirate to reopen them immediately.The organization said on X that Afghan girls have been deprived of their right to education due to the &discriminatory and unjust policies& of the Islamic Emirate.Amnesty International added that the Islamic Emirate&s policies violate international laws.This comes as the Islamic Emirate has emphasized that the issue of schools is an internal issue of Afghanistan and any kind of pressure in this regard can be considered an interference in the country&s affairs.
