The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Amir Khan Muttaqi has said internal issues related to women&s rights in the field of education and work have had an impact on the recognition of the Islamic Emirate.In an interview with BBC, Muttaqi said that the Islamic Emirate has made progress in foreign policy areas and diplomacy, and that some countries have Afghan embassies or representatives in country.
However, the political position of other countries has led to problems.
Muttaqi said some internal issues related to women&s rights in education, work and human rights have had an impact on interaction with the international community and slowed down some processes.Muttaqi said however that some countries have started interacting with the IEA and he hopes that soon Western countries will do the same.
He did criticize countries that block consular services and says by doing so these countries are violating human rights.
Muttaqi also raised the issue of Afghan embassies and consulates that do not take their orders from Kabul.
He said some of these missions are guilty of corruption.
