Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar inaugurated the building and construction of a second road between Kabul and Jalalabad cities on Saturday.Mullah Baradar said at a ceremony that the road job is important for transportation as it would connect the 2 significant industrial and strategic provinces of Kabul and Nangarhar.He included that trade centers between the two important economic, industrial and transit provinces would not just contribute to the development of domestic trade, but also play an essential role in the advancement of trade relations with countries in the area and beyond and can add to the nationwide economy of the country.Mullah Baradar said that the roadway will be constructed based on the decree of the leader of the Islamic Emirate and with toll gathered on Kabul-Jalalabad highway.He said that with the conclusion of the second Kabul-Jalalabad road, traffic jam in the first road will be decreased, which will decrease traffic accidents.Mullah Baradar said that the construction of the road will assist in traffic, safe, affordable and quick transport of industrial products, and will likewise cause the development of small and medium-sized organizations along the road.The second road of Kabul-Jalalabad highway, which is 150 kilometers long, starts from Bagrami district of Kabul and passes through Kabul&& s Khak Jabbar district and Hesarak, Khogyani and Surkhrod districts in Nangarhar province before it is linked to Nangarhar&& s ring road.The post Mullah Baradar inaugurates building and construction of second Kabul-Jalalabad road initially appeared on Ariana News.
