Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) authorities state they first plan to establish electronic payments in big stores and oil stations in Kabul city and then in other big cities of the country.DAB officials stated this system of payment can avoid the physical transaction of money.They included that with electronic payments money blood circulation is avoided and the value of the afghani currency boosts.“& ldquo; Our effort is to have these devices in shops and oil stations in the very first stage so that citizens can pay their transactions digitally,” & rdquo; said Haseebullah Noori, DAB spokesman.Meanwhile, some industrialists stated that when electronic payments become typical, this will also increase business and on the other hand, services will be sped up.“& ldquo; This system has lots of benefits.
One is that physical money is not utilized and the second is that it produces a facility for individuals.
These funds are kept and consolidated in the country’& rsquo; s banks, and the banks can invest in Afghanistan,” & rdquo; stated Abdul Jabbar Safi, director of the Association of Industrialists.DAB mentioned it will broaden electronic payments first in the capital and then in huge cities.
