Acting Foreign Minister of the Islamic Emirate Amir Khan Muttaqi and Turkmenistan&& s Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov went to the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline task in Afghanistan.According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday, the two sides went over the railway growth, building and construction of railway storage facilities in Turghundi, the transmission of fiber optics, and creation of centers in visa and transportation, in addition to implementing the TAPI project.The Turkmen FM informed on the progress of the TAPI pipeline building in Afghanistan, the pace of work, and the next steps.The two sides concurred that technical teams would continue to meet in Kabul and Ashgabat to speed up the work of the TAPI project, expand railway, electrical energy issue, and transportation centers, simplification of visa issuance and financial cooperation.The TAPI pipeline is 1,821 kilometers long and has a yearly transport capacity of 33 billion cubic meters of natural gas, making it among the largest local facilities projects.The post Muttaqi, Turkmen FM go to TAPI task in Afghanistan initially appeared on Ariana News.
