The government and Reserve Bank of India have together announced stimulus measures worth Rs 29,87,641 crore or 15 per cent or the country's Gross Domestic Product to revive the economy which has been hit hard by the COVID-19 induced restrictions, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said while announcing stimulus measures under Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan 3.0.Giving the break-up of the various stimulus packages announced by the government, Ms Sitharaman said Rs 1,92,800 crore relief was provided under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Package, Rs 11,02,650 crore was provided under Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan 1.0, Rs 82,911 crore was provided under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Package Anna Yojana - extension of five months from July to November, Rs 73,000 crore was provided under Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan 2.0 and Rs 2,65,080 crore was provided under Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan 3.0 totaling to Rs 17.19lakh crore.ItemAmount (In Crore Rupees)Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Package192,800Atmanirbharat Bharat Abhiyaan 1.01,102,650PMGKP Anna Yojana - extension of five months from July to November82,911Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan 2.0 (October 12)73,000Sub Total1,719,441Atmanirbhar Bharat 3.0265,080RBI measures1,271,200Total2,987,641(Source: Ministry of Finance)The Reserve Bank of India's stimulus measures amounts to Rs 12,71,200 crore, Finance Ministry's presentation showed.Meanwhile, in today's major announcements Finance Minister announcedAtmanirbhar Bharta Rozgar Yojana which will incentivise the creation of new jobs.
